I am getting ready to purchase my first PTO driven implement. Somebody recommended to me that I should get a PTO overrun. I know that some tractors come with them built in, so I was wondering if anybody knew weather or not the CT335 has one built in or should I consider getting one?

You do not need it and you probably do not want it. Your tractor has independant pto. Older tractors have a pto that is only engaged when when depressing clutch to engage pto, then release clutch to make the pto turn. On these old tractors, if you had a mower spinning on the back, if the clutch was depressed to stop the tractor, the momentum of the spinning blade would still drive the tractor forward until the blades stopped. Not good for an emergency situation. Overrun pto adapter would let the pto keeping turning when the clutch was pushed in, and the tractor therefore would not keep moving forward.
Your independant pto has its own clutch. It also has a pto brake to stop the attachment more quickly in an emergency situation. An overrun pto adapter would let the attachment continue spinning.

Ah, thanks... you have answered my question fully. I will forgo the extra cost of the overrun then. Glad to know that my tractor has the safety built into it.
