I take it, then, that not all kubotas had the option for the snap in place protector?

My BX2200 also has a snap on cap. Might be that the newer B series uses these caps.

I have no idea . .just came with the tractor. The guy who sold it to me held it out like it was something funny that nobody would ever use . . . . /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Glad I've got it.

My JD 4410 came with one for the mid mount pto shaft for when the mower is off. It goes on and off with no tools is made of plastic and works well.
