Can i pull start my m7040suh?

No idea but I've put our IH 444 behind my backhoe and pull started it. (someone on it of course)

NO!!! hyd pump needs to provide hyd pressure to engage shuttle clutch plates in order for transmission to transfer power to turn engine crankshaft.

As Jim said, it has a wet clutch pack, so no, you can't pull start it. It will basically free wheel once it's out of park.

Gear drive. Looking at these other responses, I'm guessing his isn't.

Std Trans tractors can be pull-started (or coasting & pop the clutch) but not HSTs.

Not with hydraulic clutch packs - need hydraulic pressure to engage clutch.
