Congradulations on joining the PACK! :)
Some how I suspect that more than a BX-80 is in your future... especially if you hang around here much. :)

I know you will enjoy your new purchase. Just got off my CK20, clearing some brush. Kioti makes a great product.

I'm clearing about 1/2 an acre by hand...drop/cut/drag/burn, drop/cut/drag/burn, over and over (still shopping). That first picture brought an involuntary grin to my face.

IsandTractor....SWEET.

father-in-law and i bought the kioti together. we both have small wooded acreages in town and neither of us needs a tractor everyday. that and he is already refering to it as 'your tractor'. he paid for half and he'll still ask if he can borrow it. :D

he's pawing off this thing.

and i sold my adventure tractor....

...which was a nice original unrestored 4020 but it was just not practical now on 5 acres in town. it went to a older farmer that'll just rake hay with it.

hated to see it go.

I started clearing about 3 acres using a Craftsman riding mower and hedge clippers. I graduated to a 4hp sickle mower and powered trimmer then to a DR brush mower and Bearcat stump grinder. The next move was a 21hp tractor with 4ft bush hog and BH then I finally added the grapple which was about right for 3-5 acres. The amount of clearing increased to around 15 acres and so now I am up to a 41hp tractor, flail mower, BH, and of course the all important grapple. Life is good but I'm starting to dream of an air conditioned wasp proof cab.;)

Well, at least you've got your priorities straight. Grapples rule.:D

Did you get the pin mount version?

nope, dealer is installing a quick tach to the loader and providing a bucket to match as part of the deal for the tractor.

That's a nice set up. I had my CK20 set up with a QA as well. I used a tree boom for a number of tasks and, if I'd had a lightweight set of forks that would have been used too. (I bought a heavy set of forks that was a bit too much to be useful so I got rid of them).

I would point out for others though that the pin mount grapple would be a good option too. It saves you the $500-600 bucks for the QA adapter, doesn't require any modification to your standard bucket, and, it really only takes about 15 minutes to switch out the pin mounted implements. If you are switching daily that would be a drag but otherwise it seems a good economical alternative.

If you don't mind, what's the Millonzi light 48" grapple running these days?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Pack!

With the things I have already done with my "little" CK20, I am sure that CK30 is quite a tractor.

Looking forward to pics of the grapple, I may be looking for one for my CK20 shortly.
