Dang...its already in the lower 90's here....and I'm in the HVAC biz....time to ramp up for summer. Its getting harder every year to face this heat, and I've been doing this work for 33-34 years now :(
It's a short AC season here, unless you can stay busy with server rooms and grocery stores. The "H" part of HVAC though, plenty of need for that! I burn coal in a boiler in the house and shut it down a couple of weeks ago - that lasted for 2 days before I fired it back up again. Couldn't listen to the oil boiler keep coming on :) I am done the end of the month though, I just can't bring myself to burn coal in May - warm weather has to be coming sometime soon!

My dealer checked when I ordered my tractor last week and said the 62D MMM will be here on or before 4/28/11.

Hopefully my 72" deck will come in then too as it was supposed to ship today but not sure if that happened. Sounds like JD did not have any decks at dealers or the distribution centers. Must be that mowing season was coming at a different time this year .

If I get it next week then it will be just barely under 1 month waiting for delivery of the new 2520. If not then I am gone for the first week of May and they would have to wait.

I hate it when they change mowing season each year! Ouch a month would be difficult to deal with, I'm having a hard time with a week!! I'm going to take delivery on tractor and loader and then it will go back in a few weeks when the mower comes in (if it hasn't already). I stopped by tonight and saw that it is in the shop, so that's a good sign. Should be able to have my hands on it by the weekend, although not complete package - fine with me for now though!

before I wait a month for one implement to come in to take delivery of my new toy (oops I ment tool) I will go and get the tractor with whatever the dealer has and go get the other item later. I have mowers to choose from and access to other loaders at the farm.

Those forks do look nice - can't imagine the JD forks would be a lot more $$, ha! Thanks for the info!

JDdude, curious as to what you have found that shows less wear in an oil analysis instead of Rotella? I used to have an older 6.5 diesel and used it in that, the dmax and JD, but always interested in tips from others.

I use Archer oil, regular Dino oil in 15/40..Kendall would be the same thing. I have a dealer close to me..Oil analysis tells the story.

As promised - so far the only picture I have :( Found out yesterday the angle kit and loader were ordered but are on the truck and will be here next week. Only have to wait a few more days! So tonight I thought I'd stop in the dealer's yard and this is what I found... Where I'm the only one they have right now that is getting a 2520 with R4's, pretty sure this is the machine destined for my garage  (sorry for the poor photo quality, Blackberry and car headlights do not make for a professional photograph...)

You know, when I was standing there I didn't notice that until I was looking at the picture - What's up with that?! Not super impressed they would do that... Yeah the yard around the shop is very muddy right now, she needs a bath at .4 hrs! I'll stop in and mention the front tires, they are a great shop so I won't deduct too many points for that one ;)
