Just because I feel bad that ohio farmer04 has been talking to himself on this thread, I though I would add a comment.
My small pumpkin patch has done quite well this year. I usually plant Howden, but my local store stopped carrying that variety in bulk due to a large price increase. So I reluctantly bought Connecticut Field pumpkin seeds from them. We've had unusual weather this year, wet all summer, with both extreme heat some weeks and record cool spells too. Overall there are about an average number of pumpkins with a small number that are larger size than I got from Howdens other years.
