Put offer on Case 75C. Why so few Case tractors sold

I think you made a wise choice. I'm not saying that they are the powerhouse ag company they were 35+ years ago, but other than JD I would say they are still easily at the top of the food chain for large farm operations in North America. Around here there have been a few large farmers that were traditionally green and yellow paint farms that switched to red paint because of the price of green paint. They switched to Red not because the other brands make bad machines, but because they trust Case IH to be able to support their operations and of couse because they make more larger and powerful crop row tractors than most other brands in N/A, and probably also because of traditional thinking being you generally either use Green or Red tractors if you're a farmer. Of course a Farmall 75C isn't a large crop row machine but Case IH still has to uphold their reputation for offering great dealer support if they hope to remain relevant to farmers. I've never had problems getting parts for a Farmall M or Cub from my local Case IH dealer. I would say that Case IH caters more to the large tractor market where Kubota caters more to the small tractor market in their current setups.


When I think Case IH I think more International than I do Case. Even if that mindset is misplaced I always though of International tractor as being more relevant than Case tractor when I was growing up. Still I think when they first integrated some of their tractor models were based on existing Case models and some were based on existing International models, but I'm no expert on how that all went down. International made some great tractors nontheless back in the day. When I think New Holland I think of Ford with a worse name and a less attractive shade of blue. Ford/NH tractors from 20+ years back were easily my favorite sub-60/70 HP tractors, but I also grew up on them more than most other brands. When you think of Case IH vs NH now you should think of Chevrolet vs GMC. Lol

Friends of mine in Pyengana run a cattle/sheep property with silage/hay to support. A 90hp McCormick (CASE), 70hp CASE and an 'ancient' little red tractor that's been rolled 2-3 times (at least!). There are faded FIAT parts posters adorning their maintenance shed as I think that they're the 5th & 6th generation working the property.

CASE is still around.

Is the Case inferior or are the folks brain washed by Kub ota?

I'm noticing an awful lot of orange-washing here with even the brand being highlighted in posts, the ONLY one I've noticed that happening with. I've also seen a couple of posters that will push it over all others no matter which thread or topic To be honest, it's kind of turning me against the brand to the pint that if I buy new, it may not be that brand unless I find a good deal on a clean used one. I don't like to give money to companies with too much hype.

It's mostly green around here for the low to mid range farms with a Case or two running around. The bigger guys in the county use some of the Case moon machines (tracks) while the bigger guys in other areas are dedicated to green.

I haven't seen any mention of smaller Case stuff (SCUTs) so I'm not even sure they offer one.

Lol. Funny you mention that. I asked my dealer if the Kubota comes with the cheerleader starter kit pom poms and all. I told him that it appears that the Kubota boys need to tell everyone why they spent that kind of money. I think they are a fine tractor. I do not think they are the end all.

Fiat Industrial makes good quality engines...
I've had two with zero issues in a WM 50 and current tier 3 t4.75...
They know their stuff...

Some of the orange washing is because of TBN members like Messick's and KTAC posting periodically on the board and interacting with the members (I think this is very internet savvy of them) and that leads to members recommending Kubota because they feel like someone has their back. I test drove a lot of tractors and really liked the Grand L60 cab models I looked at. I don't recommend you cross Kubota off your list just because a lot of members lean that way and promote the brand here. Kioti and LS are also big on this forum as well and Branson should be thankful for the posters here pushing them since they barely advertise. I will say there seems to be an anti-Deere bias on this board that I have noticed as well. I prefer to consider what the needs/tasks that a member is asking for help/advice with and if Deere is the best choice I will steer them that way; however, if Kioti or LS or Massey or Kubota, etc are better for the poster's situation then I will recommend those models. I think every individual gets a different feel and comfort level and there is no set brand to push all the time. Kinda like cars, look how many different brands are out there and they all get you from point a to point b. Well, except maybe a Tesla when you run out of charging stations lolol.

I was in Michigan in July and I drove for miles and miles past farms and saw green green green everywhere and some Case spattered here and there. If you look for dealers in a heavy Deere area you will probably find more dealers or a mega-dealer there. If you see more Case then you will probably see more dealers and/or a mega-dealer for Case in the area causing that dominance.

Case and New Holland are basically same tractor (Ford/Mercury or GMC/Chevrolet). CNH contracts LS M-tron (LS tractors) to make their subcompact and compact models. The New Holland brand is the only side that markets a subcompact (Workmaster 25S)

The tractor came in yesterday. It is a left over 2017. Does anyone know of the differences from 17-18? I noticed the radio which is not blue tooth. The rear wiper has a hideous switch on the wiper motor. Dealer will wire it to switch on pillar. No sun roof. This could be good or bad. To me everything else looked the same but what am I missing? Thanks
