Original spec is 20 degrees. I think I was overly generous with my 11 to 13 degrees gain... so let's say I gain 10 degrees for the sake of conversation. That's 30 degrees and yes... you are right... that puts me in the ball park of where a lot of folks are who have those compound linkage arrangements. Maybe my other problem is more at fault here... just a 15 inch deep bucket. Even at 30 degrees of rollback on my 78 inch bucket, that's only about 2.54 cubic feet of "water holding" capacity compared to 1.74 cubic feet at 20 degrees. Better, but still not very impressive.

Oh Brother!!! Always the 7520 trouble makers have to show up!

If I had a 7-foot wide 25" deep bucket... 12,000 lbs and 75 HP... I wouldn't care a hoot about the rollback angle... but note, by the way, that you've already got 29 degrees to my 20!!!

What about changing your quick attach out. Coastal tractor in CT is selling these adjustable quick attach's that seem like they would have a lot more rollback for under $400.

Wow!!! Is that close to perfect or what!!! Well done Dave!!!

The new angle... plane of pins vs. attachment face... is perfect! The only drawback is that it appears this particular unit would lift the bucket a bit too high (relative to the pivot pins) for effective "scouping" at or near the maximum rollback angle. Still, I am impressed and encouraged that such a device exists and could be used on my own FEL. I'll definitely check it out next time I am down at Coastal!
