QA Template

Hello All,

I have a skid steer type QA type FEL and want to make a set of forks, I all read have the forks the ones with the 1 1/2 hole in them for the bar that mounts it the unit. What would like to know if any of you guys & gals have any input on how I should go about constructing the mount that mates to the loader?

Ebay, quick attach plate, usually around 100 bucks or so. I bought mine to make a grapple with, fits great.

I been looking at them but I like to build stuff out of nothing, I did how ever find what I was looking for after hours of searching Im going to give it a try. Thanks for the reply and the suggestion if any one else would like the information here it is.

Ken if you're thinking about making a set of QA plates yourself its a pretty straightforward job. The only problem that I can see is most of the plates are thick steel that has been bent or formed into shape. Although I guess its possible to keep all parts flat and straight and just weld them together.
