That's going to be some kind of great looking place you will have. That 3940 will do just fine with whatever you ask it to do.

Thanks, I'm very excited to start building, but I don't want to rush it. The plan is to take my time and plan everything perfectly since we don't plan on moving again after this.

You definitely have the right idea. My wife and I planned on ours for quite some time. We changed house locations twice and finally brought a dozer in to finish the one up we chose. House design was an ongoing process and even changed some things after construction had begun. I know of no way to get everything perfect, but you can come close. We have been here for fifteen years and will never leave.

I would put the rear tires out as wide as they well go. Load the tires and the L3940 is just right for what you want it for. Good choice......

Is there a way to adjust the width of the rear tires?

There is on some Grand L models, but I noticed some don't. On my L5030, you can adjust the rear wheel width by bolting the wheel to the inside or outside of the center hub.

That makes sense. I have noticed on some tractors there is an axle and it appears the the wheel can be adjusted in or out on the axle, I haven't seen any Kubotas like that but you never know.

Thanks. Still debating on the cab. One minute I decide I want it and then end up changing my mind.

Has anyone mowed with a mmm and then switched to a finish mower, or went from the finish mower to a mmm? I've always mowed with a mmm but do like the advantage of how easy it is to attach/detach the finish mower.
