Quick change link arms

Today I went to the ag expo at MSU in lansing michigan and found a booth that sold a quick hitch system that attached to the ends of the lower 3pt arms,looked like a slick system. Attached is a pic and web site. greenwell mfg

Neat, but I am assuming that you would need a pair for each implement you wanted to hook up that way ?

No, they stay hooked to your lower 3pt arms.

kc i am one of the guys that sold you that quick hitch. Please let me know what you think about it.i think you will be really happy with it. just learned today that some of the older john derres arms are to small for the set screws. if yours is like that just let us know and we will send you another pair. We fixed that problem as of today. dont forget to let me know what you think about them. hip

Hip, I am sorry to say that I didn't get a pair because by the time I got to your booth I was broke /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. My buddy with the kubota did though and I hope to soon.

A stupid question

I don't have my tractor yet so I haven't ever hooked anything up to a 3 pt, wondering if I will need to get something like this.

How do these quick hookup systems change how you hook up 3 pt implements? How hard is it to get 3 pt implements hooked up to the regular hitch? I'm not going to be able to move these implements around if that makes a difference (no concrete floor for wheels).

Also, do these systems work on stuff that just sits on the hitch(like a broadcast spreader) or do you have to take it off to use that kind of thing?
