Quick disconnect quality difference

Thanks Andy! About 26GPM @ 60PSI for the 1/2" is darn good. Do you have the flow numbers on the Pioneer poppet style typically used on tractors? Im going to have to find out where my pressure losses are. I looked again and there are no QDs that fluid has to pass thru in the circuit from the pump outlet back to the reservoir, yet at 17GPM that line runs a pressure of 700PSI at the pump outlet - a total waste of the mechanical power needed to produce 7hyd HP. Im think the loss Im seeing is due to one or all of the valves the flow transits [loader, 3PH, factory remotes] being restrictive. The hyd tubing is large. I cant believe that it, combined with about 10 feet of 1/2 hose, could account for near that backpressure. Seeing about 500psi/5 mech HP being wasted even at rated PTO rpm is bugging me. Fortunately the tractor does fine at 15-1700 rpm where backpressure is only about 200 and at only about 10gpm.

Larry,
The pioneer style poppet #'s should be page 40.
700 psi no load does seem high.
