Go with the pats quick hitch you wont regret it and they sell them at rk also. they will fit anything and no bushings needed.

But you have to still deal with the spreader bar, which the rigid frame QH eliminates...

That RK QH is visualy identical to the HF unit; sure they all come out of the came chisese factory. The hooks are made for Cat 2/3 pins. It doesn't matter on some of my implements, on others I picked up some bushings at TSC for $2.50 ea. Agri SUpply had them cheaper but their S&H (AKA extra profit markup) is based on cost of order, not actual shipping.

As another noted a section of pipe works just fine. That's what I used for my counterweight barrel.

And I had to modify the QH and implements a little so they all work. The finish mower is a problem but I'm thinking of selling it since I bought my ZTM.

I used the spreader bar a couple times and realized i didnt need it , I change implements constantly at my farm without the spreaderno problem.

Using 1 inch pipe as the top bushing works as long as the top hook is oversize and out of spec. It worked on the Haul Master hitch but wouldn't fit into the Land Pride hitch that was machined to specifications.

Here are some detail photos of a Land Pride QH15 quick hitch VS Harbor Freight Haul Master. The Haul Master is Chinese made and sold by many names.

After using both the Land Pride is snug and holds an implement such as a rototiller steady. The Haul Master is very sloppy and an implement jumps around.

How well does 1 inch pipe fit lower hooks....

Here is how it breaks down for lower hooks using 7/8 (cat 1 pins), at least for me...

Very expensive cat 3 sleeves, 1.430 inch
Simple scrap pile 1 inch pipe, 1.338 inch

For upper hook.... I used a 3/4 inch bolt (on ballast box) with a 3/4 inch pipe sleeve.

Very expensive "tractor" sleeve 1.104 inches.
3/4 inch pipe from scrap pile, 1.056 inches...

If you use 1 inch pipe in the bottom hooks it will be a loose fit. Especially on the Harbor Freight hitch. Over one hundred thousands is too much play. Slide a piece of 1-1/4 inch EMT conduit over the 1 inch pipe.

Upper pin should be 1-1/4 inch and 3/4 pipe is also too small.

I've only been paying $1.50 for bushing adaptors. Times 6 - $9.00 per implement.

Illustration was more to show how out of tollerance some of the imported hitches are. If you are thinking of buying one get a top and bottom Cat 3 bushing and check tollerances and locking latch fit.

I bought the Agri-Supply QH version and couldn't be happier. I selected it because of it's modified top link that has more horizonatal clearance then most Chinesium QH. I haven't had any problems with top link clearance at all.

Making all my attachments fit (except for my EA 8' grader blade and EA 7' land leverler) - totally different matter.

This is why I continue to harp on the two most important colors of tractors are:

- Make sure your FEL is Quick Attach
- Make sure all your 3ph attachments are QH-compatible.

Tar River (black) VS Deere I-Match. Even without measuring easy to see the Tar River hitch will be a sloppy fit on the bottom pins. It pays to spend more.
