Ok, I know this has been talked on before, but have a little different question than what I've seen answered so far. What types of equipment tend to need that adapter that I see as optional on some, and standard with some quick hitches like the speedco? And the second question, are there any issues using implements like a flail mower that use the toplink length to adjust cutting height with a quick hitch? Can the toplink pin be shifted out of that hook during operation? My flail mower is a Ford that has slots for the lower links to move up and down, letting it articulate somewhat and follow the ground contour. I'm wondering if this might be one of those implements that would need that toplink adapter.
