Quick Hitch

My Pat's hitch system has been great so far, and I believe it will allow me to connect an offset flail mower, which won't work with a normal QH.
I offset my rotary mower same as I would without the QH, by adjusting the tractor's sway chains.

So far as I know, either allows the same offset for an implement. If the mower itself has the offset, again, either device should allow the same offset.

Yeah. Here's my minor improvement to a small disc to match the QH. New pins and some washers.

No bushings. There's no need for a precision fit in this application.

Thanks for this image. I will need to reconfigure my old 7' rear scraper blade with something like this, probably.

Brush cutter hooked up good to new Speeco QH it's the biggest heaviest piece I have so that's great.
Box will have to move mount and support arms, no biggie, but my 4' rake pins are to short.
Which bushings or extra long pins can I use? Need about 2 inches more each side?
5 1/4" now, need about 8" each?

On a quick hitch when the bottom pins are locked in
its not possible for the top pin to jump out of the top

It appears to me that "top pin jumps out" complaints are from using a rotary cutter, in a quick hitch, with a pin (red) in the holes designed for the top link, instead of re-assembling the cutter hitch to fit a quick hitch.

The A-frame should fit the quick hitch, with the flex link behind the A-frame.

The slightly longer pins shown above were from Tractor Supply.

For your rake needing substantially longer pins, and if maintaining OEM authenticity isn't important, I would cut off the pins and weld on a new pin assembly like shown in post #42 above, with the pins hammered full depth into square tubing.

I don't think a rake can cause extreme stress, but you think so then you might want to reinforce the new pin assembly. See the other post linked from post #42.

The rake is light and could just hook it to 3 point but would be nice to have all attachments used with QH.
QH 29 1/2" rake is 21" Believe extra long pins from Rural King at 5 1/2 usable end 8" overall should work.
