So to get a Skid-Steer compatable QA on a Kubota loader I have to buy a pinned bucket and then cut it apart and add something like the ATI conversion???? Is that correct???
I don't know that you have to buy a pinned bucket - although likely it is included in the price of the Kubota loader ..... maybe not .... I'd ask your dealer. Obviously you can pick up Skid-Steer compatable QA-type bucket from many third parties. One thing I often wish is that my Kubota 60" Light Materials bucket was deeper like a skid-steer bucket ..... dunno how well the LA402 would handle it though.

Yeah, I totally understand. That's why I'm asking questions now before I buy a loader. So to get a Skid-Steer compatable QA on a Kubota loader I have to buy a pinned bucket and then cut it apart and add something like the ATI conversion???? Is that correct???

I know I can get a Skid-Steer compatable system on a Woods loader but haven't compared prices yet.

Keep us posted on your progress Timber, I'm very interested in what you end up with.
Buy the bucket and the Tach-all from ATI. They make the same bucket that Kubota does. If I only knew 6 months ago what I know now. You won't have to do anything but put it together. The tach-all uses the same pins that are on the loader too well the LA 402 anyway

Yep, that sounds like the route to take alright!!! Thanks Timber. :)

Messicks modified an L bucket for me to fit the ATI QA.

I love love love QA. You will too when you try it. Takes around 15 seconds to switch an implent off, and another 15 on. Going between forks, bucket, root grapple, and front hydro PHD is a joke. I got a blank and am going to have a HF quick hitch welded on it, so I can put the rear blade and rake on the front. All sorts of uses.

You'll love it. Really, its worth the money. I've been very pleased with the ATI one - cost around 600? for the Tractor side, $145? attachment blanks

I have the Kubota Quick Coupler on my 402 loader. This QC will fit many different older model Kubota's. When I bought mine I was worried about weight. The ATI skid steer type QC adds more weight on the front of loader that I did not want to give up with a weight limited loader.

I like your post hole digger on the loader. Any info on how it is hooked up to hydraulics?

I wish I did it from the begining. It is going to have to wait now. I have been putting off buying a new laptop for too long now and realy need to. I also started my watergarden that I wasn't planning on till next year and I have about a grand to spend on that. Never enough money or money and no time

It runs off a rear remote with the hoses brought forward, though I'm sure you could do it with a diverter off the FEL as well.

With the tractors hydraulics, does it turn the post hole auger very fast? Is the speed adjustable?
