Quirky and OCD tendencies..... Anyone else have them?

Ends toasted, heavily buttered, and cinnamon/sugared and they are a wonderful snack.

I like to toast em, and butter them and then slather on the wife's preserves (she makes several flavors) on them. Yum..

Some of you would be appalled at my lunch sandwich. I used one heel end of bread, and DID NOT book-match it on purpose, AND I slopped the Swiss cheese on at different angles!. Some of the ham was hanging out over the sides too.

I purposely have always made my sandwiches with meat hanging out. As a kid it was so the dog would be able to eat the meat that off the floor when it “ accidentally “ fell. Mom would not let us feed people food to the dog so it was “ sorry mom, it just fell out of my sandwich “. I still do it today even though Mom is long gone.

Anyone else eat peanut butter with bananas and honey or syrup? How about cheddar cheese with Apple Pie? Wife is a New Yorker and doesn't know what's good!

Sounds good. Do you spread the PB on a sliced banana or how is it done? Never had cheese with apple pie, melted on warm pie I assume? Or baked in?

Peel and mash banana, add about 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter and a couple Tablespoons of either honey or syrup. Mix well, make a sandwich and enjoy. The other...either warm or cold apple pie and you just nibble the cheese in between bites. Thought it was a tasty combo.

Other oddities I enjoy are peach or apricot preserves or grape jelly on good breakfast sausage. I've forgotten a few past favorites only because they would gross out the wife.

Hahahaha. No, just a guesstimate. I add more or less to get the texture just the way I like it. One batch normally makes at least two sandwiches.
