When I was at a show in Louisville KY a couple months ago, NH had a Boomer with a snow blower mounted on the front. It was mid PTO driven. The NH rep said it used a "RAD System". The NH web site shows the snow blower:

I don't want a snow blower, but would like a blade and would also be real interested in a mower up front. Has anyone else seen the RAD System?

I don't think NH makes a mower to fit there, but with some fabrication, you could probably get their MMM to work (same 2,000 RPM PTO speed). The quick attach is proprietary - not compatible with three point implements /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif (too bad in my opinion) I have seen some aftermarket front three point hitch mounts mentioned here on tbn. I know the bi-directional tractors are popular in Europe...

where I worked they have a front mount blower on a NH. the shaft comes all the way from the rear. Its belted to the PTO shaft. RAD also makes Kubota's front mount blower.

Danny,

Where in the heck have you been??? You don't post much here anymore, well I guess I don't as much either. My wife wanted me to get the snowblower last year. She thought it would look nice on my tractor and I think it would too. Well I didn't take her up on her offer and now I can't afford it. But if you wish, you could buy one and I could put it on my tractor since we have the same and try it out for you??? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

murph - I changed jobs and things got busy during that time. My old job was boring and I had a lot of time to kill at work. I'm much more busy now, but it's also much more interesting work ( www.tstproducts.com ).

Does anyone know if RAD has a web site? I did a quick web search and didn't come up with it.

This is the company that makes the New Holland snow blowers. If you look under grasshopper products when you are looking around you will find a picture of the RAD front quick hitch. http://www.radinter.com/
