hi,

Ive got a john deere 4210 and the rake seems to be really low at the back. It used to be okay but we just put the rake back on and it's been sitting real low and this interferes with the back tyres. the rake keeps on hitting the back side of the tire, almost tearing it apart.

Any ideas why the rake is sitting so low all outta the blue? Needs hydraulic oil?

Thanks

I don't have an answer for your rake position problem but I can advise you to be very careful until your position problem is solved. There have been instances where an implement has been pulled up onto the operator by a back tire. This was more common with drag implements (One Ways in particular) than 3 point implements but just wanted to mention it.

I'm sure someone qualified will be along shortly to assist in solving your problem.
