Always tended to favor my 100 series Massey's. I'f I had 1/2 a reason to own one, I'd have me a Deere 6030! THere's a rude, crude, loud and proud monster of a tractor..... I like the 1066 and 1466 IH open station models, and don't know of too many tractors that I WOULDN'T want to own.

Also thought the White 2-1xx series with MFD looked bada$$ just sitting still:

They were always better sitting still ...they could'nt go wrong then :)

I don't know much about ag tractors, but I always kind of liked the International Turbos from the 70's. I remeber seeing one in a tractor pull, the kind of pull where you just bring your everyday tractor, and thought it was a good looking tractor.

I always thought Oliver had some of the nicest looking tractors. The current Deere and Kubota compact tractors have good styling too.

I almost forgot the V8 powered Massey. Not quite as pretty as the international, but definitely has alot of *** appeal.

This vote may not be so popular, but I've always been fond of this tractor we used on our tobacco farm back in the '60s. It did the work of the IH "cultivision" tractors, hilling rows, cultivating, etc. and the work of the Ford Workmaster line, plowing, discing, pulling trailers, etc.

He's to modest to say it himself, but I've always had a soft spot in my heart to Ken Sweets "Old Maude" !
Might make him an offer on it before he sells it to The Smithsonian Institution.

As a total Green Lover, would love to say the 50's and 60's Deere x30s and x20s (ie 520, 730, etc), and of course the 4020.

I do hate to say those pull off second, and I absolutely love IHs like the 1066s and the such that people have been posting.

My favorite tractor is this wood burning steamer built by The (Daniel) Best Manufacturing Company in San Leandro, CA. The company was founded in 1871 and also built horseless carriages with a seven hp gasoline horizontal twin cylinder engine. They later merged with the Holt Manufacturing Company and later became the Caterpillar Tractor Company.
This particular turn of the century tractor was entered at our local antique tractor show for several years and the owner told me that in order to clear under all of the highway overpasses they had to remove the stack while transporting on the lowboy.
While I was taking the first photo, an old guy parade marshall (I was 61 at the time) yelled at me to "get out of the way or I'll be run over!". My camera lense was on a low telephoto setting, I was about twenty yards in front it and the tractor was cruising at about a half mile per hour.
I don't think i've seen one of those before. That looks pretty awsome. Looks fun to work on too. I like that gray F-20 too. Has a steampunk look to it.

I've always like the Ford County tractors. They look like ultimate mud toys!
