I picked up this Rayco 1665 stump grinder recently for some short money. It has a Wisconsin 65 HP motor on it. I did need to replace the lower pillow block bearings on the cutter bar shaft, the drive chain and quite a few teeth. I found a complete set of heavy duty teeth seats and replaced the entire set. We had our wood lot harvested after a big ice storm took its toll on our trees. I bought this unit to take care of the stumps so that we can keep the roads open for future harvesting. We also just had the wood lot certified as a Tree Farm. Shortly we will be planning our strategy as to what we will plant and how we will manage it.
