I used to play before I had surgery on my right arm for tendon/ligament damage (10 years ago). I thought I would miss it, but.... NOT!

Golf taught me three things...

2. Creative club "swings" (into woods, up into trees, in the drink, etc.). /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
3. A lot of money can be saved by not playing! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Harv, I know exactly what you mean.

When I was in high school, I was really into the game BIG time. By that I mean that I took it way to seriously. I'd miss a shot or an "easy" putt, and I'd blow a gasket and fume about it for the next 1/2 hour. Well, what that meant was that I was "fuming" for the entire round. I was just too young to realize that I wasn't having much fun and that I wasn't making it any better.

After I went in the Navy, it took me about 15 years to get back to the game. Once I started playing again, I realized what the important things about the game really are, and as a result, I enjoy the day much, much more and I believe that it's made me a better player. But the important thing is that I just enjoy the time outside with my friends (and that's anyone I'm playing with!). /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
