B2150DT / B2150 Hydro / Hinomoto JF-1
I'm thinking that someone must have done this already and could give me some pointers? I have a 1992 B2150DT with a factory loader. I got an email from TractorSmart when I asked about a rear hydraulic kit that suggests the loader has taken the only available hydraulic outlet on the tractor. I'd like to end up with rear hydraulics available and put a 2 or 3 section valve on the back of the tractor for top link, snowblower chute, log splitter, backhoe ( if the wife ever relents) etc. I've seen pictures of one with a backhoe, so I figure there should be a straightforward way, appreciate any advice. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I have a B2150 also and would like to have rear remotes too. I believe there is a kit from Kubota, but I have not checked into it. If you find a kit, please let me know. BTW, most 3PH backhoes use a PTO hydraulic pump and separate reservoir from the tractor to supply more volume of oil for better performance.

Yeah, I know about the PTO pump, got to take things in order. There are a whole bunch of things the rear hyd. would be good for, backhoe being only one of them if the CFO ever relents, it will work slow off that , then I could add a PTO pump later. I am going to have to hit up some more dealers to see if I can find out for sure about a kit, but I haven't found anything promising. I was really hoping someone here had already suffered the custom pain route and come up with an elegant solution, or had such a factory option already on their machine... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I think eventually left to my own I could brute force a sub-optimal solution, but I always see such nice stuff up here, that I thought I'd be humble and ask for help first ( never mention that to the CFO!) /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Over 140 looks, no answers yet, so I'm thinking about the hard way. I have been doing some research, doesn;t look like a kit is available, But the 2150 hydeo model has a different plate at the 3 pt lift that has oil inlets to feed the hydro. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could put this outlet on my machine and save the trouble of routing a Tee into my existing return line. I going to try and attach a view of what I naively came up with as one option to augment my hydraulics. I am hydraulic ignorant, only picked up on what I have read here, so please let me know if I am heading for trouble. I laid out a plan that would give me another spool up front for a snowplow blade or a front grapple, I "moved" the old loader valve to the rear to re-use it. Has anyone got experience with upgrading loader valves on a Kubota to point me to a valve that will fit well? I'm heading to Vegas for a few days, hopefully someone will have shared some wisdom by the time I get back. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

The solution to your problem is simple. For the Kubota your valve block must be open center with power beyond and it should have 3-position 4-way spools and the inlet should have a pressure relief set at least 2000 psi. I believe the hydraulic flow is about 4.5 gpm so a small valve will be ok if you can find one. I used a Prince SV which is 12 gpm but only has a footprint of 8" x 8".

You should not have to remove the loader valve. Disconnect the loader's power beyond hose from the front hydraulic outlet on the tractor. Join this hose with a new hose that goes to the inlet of you new valve (you can also replace the entire hose). Then run a hose from your new valve's power beyond port to the front hydraulic outlet.

Locate the loaders return to tank port hose and determine where it goes back into the transmission reservoir (probably under the seat). Install a Tee connector here. Connect the loader hose to one side of the Tee. Run a hose from your new valve's outlet port to the other side of the Tee. This part of the circuit normally has no presure so a Tee will work fine.

Start the tractor. Add hydraulic fluid as necessary.

here is a rather grainy picture of my setup.
