Good job on those brackets. A little MF mirror black paint and you will be fixed up.

Hey Jerry - What would you think of drilling and tapping the front cross piece of the loader to mount my front auxilary bracket?

How about using the center tube hold down bolt. That one bolt would do it if you had a plate under it that had a lip over hanging the front or back of the beam. Then have your QA fitting mounted to that plate. Clear as mud? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think I get what you're driving at; the lip would prevent twisting with just the one bolt holding it, correct?

So, are you saying you wouldn't drill/tap into that cross piece?

Yes, that is why I would put the lip in.

No, not at all. I don't think that it would hurt anything to drill and tap it. I just always try to use existing fasteners when I can if they prove to be in a good location.

Auxiliary hydraulics update: I’ve got the rear ones mounted and they are working fine. I plan to finish the front set and get a photo of it tonight. I’ve got the dust covers on order as well.

Finished the front hydraulic connector mount. I ended up drilling and tapping the loader cross brace for two ¼-20 screws. That’s Rustoleum paint BTW; there is no tractor supply store near by and my MF dealer has convenient store hours that start after I get to work and end before I leave work! My only chance to get to the dealer is on a Saturday.

I don't think that I ever did show how I mounted my rear QTs. Here is a picture.

That looks good Jerry! Are those little U-bolts you have on that cross piece to hold your "bejeezus" pins? Why didn't MF weld some on to the lower links of the 3-point where you actually need them on my 1433V?

Those are pieces of 5/16 chain. I cut the end off of a link, drill holes in the angle, put the link through and then weld the back. MF did have them on the larger 1200 series. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
