Were you "pushing" with the rear blade;that's a no-no;designed to pull not push.No trip somethings got to give.

Did your dealer sell it to you or was it an internet purchase? Sorry I dont have any experience with this brand. Very unfortunate to have this happen in snow season :(

Looks like a cheaply made blade. Thin material and crappy welds. We can clearly see that a full bead of weld had no penetration at all.

I think you may need a heavier duty blade for the Branson. Those tractors are very heavy and put lots of traction on the tires, so the implements need to be up to the task at handling all the forces.

Yikes! Sorry to see that. Had to have been a rock. What speed were you going and was it down a steep grade?

"Heavy Duty" everywhere except where the strength is needed. Looks like a flesh wound. Tack welded but not 'welded'.

HF 90a glue gun. Could be a warranty issue, carefully document poor welds. If not, cut and repair as neccessary. Hopefully not with a glue gun, but an actual welder. On the bright side, better the damage happened to the blade, rather than the tractor.

Oh crap.... And I was seriously contemplating purchasing that particular blade/design in 48 or 54 inch for behind my SCUT... As a alternative to the cheap crap at TSC...

I would send pictures and complaint directly to BE corporate (yes it's also chinese import) ....

I got the blade with my new tractor from the dealer. Really happy with the Branson so far. I didn't even look at the rear blade as it was not on the tractor. Dealer said he would warranty it. Just have to bring it back.

Not pushing backwards or anything. Going pretty slow. Less than 5 mph. Didn't even feel a thing. That Branson with the cab is a tank.

Whatever...... I would consider a few more $$$ and a better rear blade. However, the way it's stove up - looks like it was being used to push.

Easy peasy, so get another, just the same.

I like forty year old blades, for this reason. And they are dirty cheap. Heck, I have one I never use, that I was going to make into a grader and got it for FREE.

Even with my heavy duty Rhino 950 - I simply reverse the blade, drive forward. If the idea is to simply smooth things out. It's just too easy to hook up on something and cause damage.

Good for the dealer to take it back. I'll bet he will be better informed on how to match up a rear blade to the tractor weight from now on.

Looks like a junk cheap blade. Quick googling shows maybe 190 pounds for the 5' blade??

IF so, you have WAY too much tractor for such a cheap and light blade if you are serious about working it in the dirt.

It really doesn't take a lot of weight to create a lot of inertia with a bit of speed.

Funny thing is. A guy could try a thousand times to hook something with the corner of a blade and not be able too, but have no trouble doing it (first time) by accident!

I hear Rolls Royce even has a warranty now because of some problems they have had in the past with their vehicles.
