Does anyone know what the spec/type is on the hydro remote QD fittings are on a new DK40?
I want to have a short double-male hose made to circuit my detented remote and need to know which male QD ends to buy. I am thinking that they are ISO 7241-A x 3/4", but need to be sure.

I don't know what the number is, but they are std 1/2" AG type QDs. Poppet style is what I supply to everyone. The smallest point on the male end is about 13/16".

I Don't happen to know the numbers you are asking for but I 'm glad I have a return line to plug in my backhoe when ever it is removed. It saved me before I am sure because my hydraulic switch for the remote has been accidentally bumped online before with nothing connected.

Bob from Michigan Iron (sponser) makes them up and can send it to you.

Ditto the Rimshot post. MIE makes them up and they are a good investment. I tried to get it made locally and it turned into a pita.

What do you order from them (part number or description), and what did it cost?

I don't think the return line has a part # in that he makes the line up. It is basically a short length of hydraulic hose with two male quick connect fittings. The user simply slips each end into both female ends at the rear remote that was abandoned when you remove the backhoe(assuming you are plumbed the same way).
This serves as insurance for a tractor operator aginst bumping the hydraulic switch on the right side of fender from Neutral to the circuit that was active. The hydraulic system hits the wall similar to the way a submerged water pump is damaged when it is turned on with a closed main valve. If you have your return hose plugged in the inlet is fed by the outlet an spares system damage from occurring.

I have actually done this by accident and been saved by the loop of line.

Just take a male fitting off your bhoe and have a local hydraulic hose maker fabricate a two foot long hose loop, with two male fittings- plug it into your detented rear remote hydraulic female QDs, - done. Use it when hoe is off the tractor.

That's what I was planning to do. I was hoping to find out what the spec/name of the male QD fitting was so that I could tell the hydro shop what I needed, rather than having to remove one (and risk having it leak after reinstall).

Go to TSC and buy two 1/2 inch male ag connectors.

I realize this is an old thread, but I just ordered a pigtail from Bob at MIE and for my CK4010 with the 2574L backhoe, he said it uses the ISO 7241-A x 1/2" connectors. The ones he makes up is 18" long. I thought the price was a little steep, but I ordered it anywho as it would be cheaper than burning up a hydraulic pump should I inadvertently hit the circuit control and not notice it.... It was 49.00 plus S&H which he estimated to be around 15.00 from MI to OH.

Ow... that hurt... :banghead:

Or if you Have Tractor Supply nearby, prices are about the same and you can avoid the shipping. But Surplus Center and Discount Hydraulic Hose really shine if you want an exact length or something other than NPT fittings. You can avoid a lot of adapters if hoses have the right fittings.

Yeah, I have a TSC and a RK within 15-20 min. so I'll definitely go that route the next time. The biggest issue was trying to get a precise answer on exactly what was needed. I believe the OP here never actually got the answer as to the exact fittings to use. That was one of the reason I posted was so it might help someone else as well as be a reference for me should I need it down the road. So I appreciate the replies as it gives me other options should I need another in the future.
