I have a T474 tractor and am mowing 10-15 degree hillsides. It seems to be ok, but a little more stability would be less stressful!

Would wheel spacers on the rear tires make much difference in stability? I’m thinking 4” spacers…

Will the spacers cause any problems?

What brand to buy?

Rear tires are loaded.

1) Yes

2) Rear wheel spacers MAY make it difficult to pull a moldboard plow. There are several other types of plow which are not effected by rear wheel spread.

3) Spreading the rear wheels 2 X 4" will increase stability considerably more than loading the rear tires.

Wheel spacers are a great addition for stability on slopes. I added 2" spacers and filled rears on my ZD mower for a 28-30 degree slope I mow. It went from "no way", to regular gut wrenching work. My point being that spacers and weight don't make a machine roll over proof.
I used BORA Spacers from MotorSport-Tech. If your machine is not in their list, measure up your bolt pattern and they'll make what you need. Top quality and easy to work with them.

Just set your rims different. Put left on right and right on left. Or take centers out and move them. Most tractors you can.

Thanks!

So no adverse problems by using spacers…increased load on bearings, etc….?

My rims are already out as far as they will go…

Unlikely.....

However, new participants on T-B-N often post minimal information.

If your tractor has an 650 pound Cab + loaded rear tires + wheel weights + wheel spacers, yes, there is a point at which load could reduce longevity.

Above is not the scenario you have presented.

I put them on my T233, and they help. I got mine through. Bro-Tek

Neither company list the T330.
