Recall Notices

I am on a product recall notification e-mail list. My wife and I own a day care center. There are often recalls involving children's items. I print these and my wife posts them in the center for parent's information. Also, there are often recalls on tools and other items that I post on TBN if I think they are of interest here. I usually post these on the safety forum. But they don't seem to get a lot of hits. I don't know if there is little interest or if the safety forum is simply less active. Should I post them on a different forum? Or quit posting them altogether?

Please don't stop posting them if they are relevant to this site. You may very well be the fella that alerted me to a recall on my woods BB600 blades. I know I learned it here anyway - and probably wouldn't know about it at all otherwise. My bet is that the safety forum just isn't as active as the rest. I seldom go there - just don't care to read about all the accidents - enuff of that on the news - not that I couldn't learn better from it ... but ....

OK. At least there is some interest. I will post recall notices that I think may be of interest on the rural living forum. Recent recalls have included items such as air compressors from Northern Tools, cordless drills from Black and Decker, and ATVs from Artic Cat. These are the type items that are likely to interest those also interested in rural living.
