Recommendations on Trailer Manufacturers

By researching and looking at trailers with the things suggested by Chris, I bought from a local Mfg- Betterbuilt in Double Springs, AL and had everything I wanted for the same price as a mass produced trailer with less features. I got sealed wiring harness, LED lights, Dexter EZ Lube axles, 100% paint, spare tire, chainbox, extra bracing, ramp assist springs, custom paint, PT deck. No shipping as I picked up at plant.
Very pleased with it.

That is a beautiful trailer. I like the axle placement. Makes balancing a load easy.

I have been looking at Kauffman trailers also. The factory is very reasonable driving distance from Richmond. I am considering the tilt deck trailers. My tractor was delivered to me on one of those split deck tilt trailers and it was real slick. I see they also make a heavy tilt deck car trailer that looks tempting. In my travels I have seen a couple of these Kauffman trailers and they looked well made. Only time will really tell though. I haven't pulled the trigger yet though because I not sure I want to get a nice new trailer for my friends to tear up :laughing:
