Remote hydraulics issue on an L3010

A couple of days ago I removed the lift arms and mounted the Woods 7500 subframe backhoe receiver on my L3010HST so I could start collecting last winter's harvest of boulders from my pastures. I made the connections to the pair of remotes on Clementine's rear, but after raising the hoe on the outriggers the hydraulics stopped. Had a HECK of a time getting one hose disconnected, then drove back to the garage, disassembled and cleaned the remote, found the circlip on one was loose and reinstalled everything to spec.

Still no joy, and when I move the hydraulic lever fore or aft I can hear the engine take a load. Took everything apart again, made doubly sure the circlips were flush against the stops, put it all back together and tested the remotes on the rear blade. The blade angled just fine, but again the engine sounded like it was taking a load. For those of you with TNT it's the sound the engine makes when a cylinder has reached the end of its travel and can't move any more. Only this cylinder was moving. And again, I had a HECK of a time getting the hose disconnected.

Sounds like a ball is stuck on one of the female couplers.

So Jerry, how does one unstick a ball on a coupler? TIA, Pete

Pete,
Make sure the pressure is gone first, then take a round rod and push in on the balls. The one that won't move will be the stuck one. When I found the one that was causing the problem, I would replace it.
