Replace loader lift/tilt cylinders with larger ones ?

I don't, but FEL raises faster at 2,200 rpm than at 1,800, if not a lot at least noticeably.

Larger cylinders lower more slowly, too. Even with regen (sucks when bucket is empty) there's more fluid to be moved through hoses, ports, valves to the other side of pistons.

Who operates their loader at full speed anyways?

People that want to get stuff done. That's immaterial. If you want to run your tractor at 1500 rpm and all of a sudden the loader takes 30 or 50% more time to raise who would want that? The big fear here about oversized cylinders is structural failure of the loader or front axle. The all day, every day concern for me would be slower cycle times. Who wants that?

I do. If I am lifting high to dump in a on a pile, or load a wagon I am trying to move as fast as possible if there is work to be done. Generally when loading out manure at my friends farm I am on the loader and filling the spreaders. If I move too slow then I have to deal with grumpy spreader drivers (75 year olds have no patience for slow loaders I found out one day). My tractor has a 3 second lift from ground to 10', makes for fast loading and the backhoes at my friends farm are similar. My friends compact has a 4.1 second lift to 8' it sure feels slow compared to mine. The lack of foot throttle means I run it at or over PTO speeds when doing production loader work. Run fast, but smooth, gets work done fast. However everyone should run at their comfort level, going faster than your skill set opens up opportunity to damaged equipment.

It would be interesting to see what OP does. It seems like a consensus here that larger cylinders are bad due to cylinder damage.
