I was gonna ask the same thing about bleeding bolt. The Bx's is self bleeding so no need to take it out. however, its a moot point so we need to help a fellow tbner. At this point, I agree the tank is gonna be a bear to take out, I looked at mine and it looks like a full day job.
The fuel pump on mine has a flange pointing to the rear of the tractor, if that helps any.

I really don't know how you gonna fish that bolt out, the tank is very irregular shaped and I bet you will need a 3 ft flexible stick with a magnet on end.

One more thing, are you sure about dirt in tank? I am wondering if you might have algae in it instead as it been known to grow in diesel tanks.

If he has dirt in the tank and is sure that it is not from something he did then I would change where I get my fuel. The dirt could be coming from there. Just a thought

Tragedy of errors.
Friend of mine told me to bleed it that way. (he works on diesel engines.)
Saw on web how to bleed it that way. (Didnt find this forum during search.)
Neighbor kid "helping" me.
Manual CLEARLY has fuel filter displayed backwards. Thats when I stopped and came on here.
Bolt in tank.
Keep typing gas tank when I mean fuel tank on forum.

Learned:
No bleeding necessary.
I was correct about fuel pump placement.
From now on, filter fuel using filtered funnel.
Put Alagae protector in fuel.

Also learned: Great bunch of folks to answer my post on a thursday evening!!!

I would also suggest next fuel filter change putting a fuel shutoff valve close to tank B4 first filter to make cleaner change next time.

Good deal, you are reading and learning. The Dirt was probably some algae and water,I have seen some nasty stuff growing in fuel tanks..I does a quick job of plugging filters too.

Learned:
1*From now on, filter fuel using filtered funnel.
1*Get a water seperating funnel such as MR. FUNNEL.
I have one but don't use it any more since I built this fueling station that filters the fuel 3 times before it goes into the tractor tank.

2*I would also suggest next fuel filter change putting a fuel shutoff valve close to tank B4 first filter to make cleaner change next time.
2*Great suggestion .
