It is funny you mention about other brands that you weren’t considering. On my way home today I saw a tractor parked in front of a kioti dealership with a cab. I stopped in and looked at it. It’s an RX7320 which I think is similar to the kubota m7060. It is outfitted with every option available. I guess it was ordered for a customer and he backed out at the last minute and unfortunately for the dealer they never got a deposit. He gave me what he said is a sweet deal because he needs it gone. It has a front end loader, cab, and brush hog and the price he gave me is less than either of the kubotas I’ve mentioned on here. I know this is a kubota thread but does anyone have any first hand knowledge with this machine? I completely understand and agree with what you said about taking time and researching to find the right one. Unfortunately with 4 kids and running my own business my time is limited which is why I came on here to get some advice. Thank you

Same. The only dealer in Colorado is several hours away & I need a bit better service doing side work with mine. They (all 3 koreans) weren't quite as refined as Kubota, but seemed to be solid & possibly better value. I also wanted a Cadillac not a Crown Victoria if I was going to spend the time in a machine doing the side gig.

HST+ is noticably superior to HST from every other OEM including Kubotas own economy machines. It's only an option on the Grand Ls though & not the Ms or equivalent you are looking at.

#36 "Take a deep breath and look at other brands and models."

My brother owns a Kioti and in my opinion quality is on par with Kubota, LS makes some good models as do some others. I ""think" Kubota and Kioti are the only companies that makes the whole tractor, some others us engines etc. from other sources; doesn't make them bad, just takes a bit more research.

If you have an LS dealer close by that is good, look at them.

I did a lot of research before deciding to get my LS and I was sold on Kubota. The cost difference is significant.

BTW, yesterday morning, a guy I know stopped by and saw my new LS. He had bought a new 2650 about the same time I got my LS. He was pissed. I have twice the machine with more features and only a bit more money. I saw him again last night and he was still talking about it. Told me he had talked to his dad and wife about it as well.

I told him the Kubota was my first choice but why I went with the LS. Also, if I was going to put 400 hours a year on it I likely have gone with the L series Kubota. One nice thing about the LS is I can get parts from the New Holland dealer if push come to shove.

He admitted he was sucked in by the 0%/5 years financing but regrets it now. I could have got 3.2% for 7 years but decided to pay cash.

Understand about being busying and family needs. BTDT. Just be wary about defining YOUR needs and you will be fine.

I am not knocking LS.

From what I have seen in this area, the dealer network is growing up from the "power tools" and Mom & Pop operations. Most seem to carry the "garden" type "tractor" class, very few move to the sub-compact type and above classes.

That's too bad for potential shoppers, like me.

Heck, some tractor shopping web sites don't even list my State as carrying LS equipment.

They need more market penetration in my area.

Uh.....almost, but the M59 has HST+. And at least one of the next smaller sizes of TLB do too. But the TLB is a cadillac by nature so no surprise. It does more, and costs more. On TLBs, the backhoe is standard but removeable for mounting a 3pt hitch (included as option). Sort of upsidedown from regular utility tractor presentation. The TLBs are also substantially more heavily built for their HP. It turned out to be perfect for us. We use the BH and thumb as much as the loader - but we don't use the BH for digging as much as for lifting.

Forgot about the TLBs. They are definitely sturdy machines. Heavy for size & HP. Which is good for digging, less so for mowing. I was eyeing one before the L4060, but no cab options, so it was out for me. I upgraded from a L3200 mostly for a cab with heat & AC.

So I went and test drove the kioti RX7320 today. It felt like a very solid tractor and the feature that allows you to adjust how quickly the hydraulic clutch engages is extremely convenient. The loader cycle times seemed a bit slow especially considering on the spec sheet it shows a much higher flow than the kubota m6060. All the features on the tractor seem to make it a really good deal at a lower price point than the competitors. The deal breaker for me unfortunately was when I got out of the tractor while it was running to give it a look over I noticed antifreeze dripping out of a tube on to the front axle pretty steady. The salesmen said he was sure it was something that could be fixed easily but it gave me a bad feeling. I guess it’s back to the kubota dealer to finalize the paperwork on the m6060.
