When I first retired, we spent 6 years full time RVing around the country. We used a mail forwarding service, so our mailing address looked like an ordinary street address and apartment number. Of course the number was our account number. And even without cell phones, we had no problem. At my request, the mail forwarding company simply discarded anything that wasn't first class mail or magazines. They had an 800 number I could call to tell them where to send our mail, what frequency, and for how long (usually one time only to General Delivery in some town). So we never got our mail more frequently than once a week, and I sure wouldn't need mail more than once a week now. So I'd be in favor of them dropping the Saturday delivery to save money.
