Are you selling or collecting? You do good work, I have done a little of that and it takes time and work. Ed

I think it's great that people can take someone elses "junk" and with some TLC make them new again!! So they aren't fancy, they work well!! It makes one respect the engineering that went into designing and building them.
I'm sure by attending a few farm auctions, a person can pick up a lot of the implements at a good price, as some just look at it as scrap iron..always nice to be able to spot a gem, and spend some time working and restoring it!!

Cheers

Roger

Very nice GRC!

That looks like you're on some sort of military base by the background buildings.

I didn't do "before" shots, but here are my Gravely rotary plow and JD soil ripper shots.

Not sure some of these are gonna come up.

Not too old but in serious need of TLC. An old Bush Hog tiller that I picked up for $100.00. Had to make a new back shield from scratch.

Thanks Wagtail and I work at a water treatment plant filtering water which from the outside does look like a army base or a prison. Awesome work RalphVA that looks great! It looks like it could really tear up some ground for sure. Also nice work Buty that looks brand new that's on my list of items to buy soon a good rotary tiller for the garden.

Ok, this restoration is a little bit larger than an attachment, but what the hey... I think it's worthy of posting! This is a video of the restoration of a JD4440 farm tractor with 2800 hours on it that was restored at Smith Farms. Not even sure of where they are located at, but if you like this one, there are a couple other videos on youtube of some other tractors they have restored. Just search on "smith farms".

This is a working farm btw, not a garage/shop that specializes in this sort of work for money. Notice the nice touch at the very end, the tractor was signed by someone named Billy Smith, who I assume is the farm owner. It's on the left hand side of the rear of the cab, just below the window. A sign of pride, and easy to understand why after seeing the workmanship in the restoration. The leather trim on the seat is a nice touch too!
