rfm + rcm or single flail mower?

I owned a Caroni 72" RFM 15 years ago.

Yet you feel qualified to include their current flail in your broadbrush condemnation? I think the Aztek was a dorky clunker - but that doesn't make all Pontiacs bad !!

I've never seen one of the 72 inch Caroni RFMs. The Caroni website lists it as weighing 500lbs which is pretty light for a 6ft mower. The equivalent Woods is 600lbs. However, a quick review of posts on TBN of the RFM seem mostly positive. In general the Italian equipment manufacturers are pretty good.
