Right tractor? Price check? Hilly sloped property...JD1025r, Kubota 2680

This would certainly work lol. I love this video and it's the kind of crap I have to mow sometimes. Ok, that might actually be worse than mine but I have a couple slopes not far off that.

I have slopes even worse than that. Some of it gets mowed with an old Murray (low to the ground = less tippy), some with a big John Deere rider and some with the Ford 3000 and brush hog (wheels set very wide on that one). Thus my own search for the right 4WD tractor.

Best quote on a 3200 was 11,500 before tax. The diesel grasshopper was just out of my range. Then I got rough retail quotes for the ISX800 and IS2100 that I知 sure you can get lower at 8,044 and 9,944 respectively. The 3200 and 2100 with the highest possible Vanguard EFI and oil guard all 61? the 800 with the big kawa efi for that model.

During the process so far I致e also had a quote for a 1025r tlb deere at 19,900 and an LS mt125 tlb at 16,500 if anyone is curious.

Yeah, pretty sure I could get well under all those quotes around here....tons of competition here in Ohio means deals to be had. I'm thinking way less dealer saturation in upstate NY!

I found another x748 2010 with 7iron 60” deck and 560hrs: guy wants 7,560 which includes tax. I offered 6 but he wouldn’t budge. He also had a 2016 Ferris 3200 with 32 vanguard big block 61” with 110hrs for the same price.

Why does the x748 feel so much more stable than the scut’s?

The 3200 61” with 37 vanguard and oilguard. Best I got was 11,500 before tax. My problem is once I pass 10k then I’m back on the slippery slope to a sub compact which is what happened when I looked at new x700’s and said how much and then “oh well, hey look a tractor, shiny!”
