Gidday, Spoke with a bloke from Inlon earlier and their Shibauras have only required self levellers to the FELS, all else is as before.... regards

Mate, I am pretty confident that the hydraulics are not the issue rather something with the tyres or front as eventually I got a reply that when I asked what would the consequenses be in lifting app 140kg the reply was a possible rolling of the tyres, looking at the tyres I have there is no load rating but they appear only four ply, again a mystery but I have just been contacted by the dealer and a definite refund and exchange is booked for this comming Monday, so....I feel so sorry for the dealer after all of their trouble and hopefully it can be sorted quickly for future sales..regards

Well I envy you sitting on your 2360, I cannot use mine any more as they take it back on Monday but it was a very nice machine to drive and I hope they can sort out that front. Thanks for your info in previous posts.regards

many apologies, I did not pay attention to the guts of your post, mate you
may well have something, I noticed that the drive was super fit but the breakout power was iffy and I put that down to the fifty hours reduced throttle break-in period. There may be more to this but I do not know.And no

I do not know how you north west pacific folk make out but my brand new bx2360 was delivered to me today in Townsville Australia and after close inspection the front loader that is painted in Kubota colours etc is actually an aftermarket job that has a SWL of only 120kg...Desperately trying to put a stop on the bank cheque..Stuff Kubota...Will try Yanmar

I have settled on a Yanmar EA 2400 which is now fifteen hrs old and am impressed with its ease of handling and it is pretty much spot on for my needs, fuel economy wise it is great and ergonomically good for my dissability particulary on the goat country slopes of our property. It can also be serviced by any 'reconised' mechanic without any warranty issue which makes it very convenient being so far from the place of purchase (1700 klm). If you are still looking for a similar unit I would be happy to send you info on the pros and cons on mine...regards mike

G'day Mike glad to see you got it sorted out as far as the service on the machine goes it is law in our country that any qualified mechanic can service any vehicle (after first service) without breaking warranty providing it is done to manufacturers standard/book. That goes for any car/truck/tractor etc. To many people get brainwashed into thinking that they have to go to the dealer for service so they don't void their warranty and over here it is just not true. You do have to go to the dealer for warranty repairs usually but in your case with the distance involved you should be able to use your local mechanic so long as he/she is approved by the dealer. Anyhow enjoy your new machine.

Congrat's on the new Yanmar!! I hope you really like it and get great service out of it. So glad the Kubota dealer came through with a refund. I guess the wait to get the new machine was worth all the hassle you went through. Good luck with it!!

Btw, I kind of dropped this thread but after reading back through you were asking what a middlebuster is. My apologies!! It's just a plow that digs a single, deep furrow. They are also called potato plows.

Thanks Kebo, we are hoping that the Yanmar gives me enough mobility to maintain our property, even simple things like loading the rubbish bins is a no brainer now. Also thanks for the pic the closest I have seen here is a pipelayer/stump puller but I will be looking for something to grub out the 'chinee apple' stumps and your middle buster fits the bill..regards mike

What does the SWL stand for ?? and what bucket did you order 203 or the 243 ??

SWL = Safe weight limit.

That would lift me and my Pug... lol
