Added tabs to the back so ripper would stand upright for attaching. Also attachment points for rigging.

To keep perspective, the commercially available pieces are not cut on a band saw whose trim lines were transferred from carefully prepared templates. Developing the templates and trimming on the saw were by far the most time consuming portions of this project.

I have been thinking about creating a stand for this reason. Having a stand-up feature on the tooth itself allows it to be used anywhere on the job sight, I hadn’t thought of that. I just need to study your pictures as I am having trouble understanding how it works.

Well I wasn’t able to fit the tip as I have clearance issues getting the tooth installed on the quick coupler. Luckily I only tack welded the ears on. They need to move upward 1/2”.

Hope the pictures help.

Couldn’t find a ripper to fit a Kubota B26 backhoe. Bought quick attach ears from dealer. Instead of making a dedicated ripper, made an adapter to allow the use of the KX mini-X attachments liked used on the Kubota M59 and current ripper. KX excavator buckets and attachments much cheaper and easier to find used.

I bought a ripper tooth from Rhinox that is made for a KX121-3, I had my welder modify it for my BH92.

The OP has far better fabrication skills and equipment than I. We both want the end results. Ripper is a game changer for smaller backhoes. One-off fabrication is tuff and time consuming. Welding ears on is a challenge for me. If an old, shaky, achy, diabetic, retired engineer can do it, most anyone can.
