Rising fuel prices...

I hadn't heard anything about that, but we've been buying most of our gas from QT because of the handy location and the cheapest prices in the area. However, day before yesterday, I filled up at Sam's Club and with their supposed 5 cent discount for members, they were only 1 penny cheaper than QT and 7-11 ($1.549 instead of $1.559).

Bird, After reading your profile I think you outta go after them cowboys setting the prices and slap the cuffs on em ! lol. Every time I go to Texas I am amazed by the fuel prices. Now you think Texas would have better prices where they actually pump the good stuff out of the ground ? Right ?? But noooo. The prices in Texas always seem as high as here. They are almost always less every place in between, but Texas and Mi....ouch ! Interestingly enough I am always suprised how low fuel prices are in Missouri. Dave

The cheaper places are still $1.559 here, and Dave, I don't know about now, but a few years ago, it seemed to me that the highest priced gas I found in Texas was in the Midland/Odessa area which is also supposed to be one of the biggest oil producing areas in the state.

Hambone, ours came down 2 cents yesterday; from $1.559 to $1.539 for regular; didn't notice what diesel had done.
