Hello all, another newbie here.
I have been browsing these foums since February, and now that I have finally taken delivery of my new tractor, figured it was time to join.
I live outside of Butler, PA, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh (go Stillers!)
My wife an I purchased a small farm (10 acres) back in December, as a place for retirement and to keep her horses.
My tractor is a JD2320 with a 62D1 cutting deck, 200CX loader, and a 64" snow blade.
We are in the process of restoring the barn, so the loader comes in handy for all the material movement involved. I just took delivery of it Friday, and christened it yesterday by cutting about an acre of grass and by using the loader to haul off the dirt and shale from the drainage ditch we are putting in the stalls.
I am an electrical engineer now, but it my younger days, I was a diesel mechanic working in my own business and then later employed by a few trucking companies. Hopefully I can contribute something with my experiences from those two fields.
Any way... hello, and...
prepare for an onslaught of newb questions until I get comfortable with this whole property tending thing.
