Put some dCon or a block type bait out in all 4 corners of the shed. Even better go to a farm store and buy bait stations and put them at all 4 corners. Will keep them from messing with anything.

Using a non-functioning chest freezer for grain storage is a great idea! I have been deliberating ideas on where to store deer corn that I buy in 50# bags. There is a used appliance store close by and I'm going to see if they have a box they are going to scrap.

Don't forget a hasp lock. Horses if you have them can open the lid and Raccoons can defeat many types of latches.
