roll bar question

There was a guy who was killed around here who didnt have a ROPS. Tractor rolled right over on him. I didnt get one with my 1920 but I am looking for one.

This situation happened on flat land. There was a guy on a competing site (YT) who happened to be going slow and looking back and his front wheel hit a sloped tree and the tractor reared up and then went crashing over sideways. He said it happened so fast he could not react quick enough. He was lucky and was only slightly hurt. Strange and freaky occurences happen with these tractors.

3 things :

1) You say your wife is an engineer ? She, or her fellow engineers cant figure out a simple solution to this ?

2) You say your engineer wife told you one bolt in each side was good...even tho it came with TWO in each side ? Are you sure she's not hoping for a large insurance settlement ? (kidding) :shocked:

3) I am a certified welder at GM....if you do any cutting or welding to your roll bar...PLEASE HAVE IT DONE BY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING. (they usually dont charge that much...and it will ease your mind sir) :thumbsup:
