ROPS for YM240 (YM2000) - pictures

ROPS for YM2000's are now available from several suppliers.

I bought one for my YM240 (US version of YM2000) from Hoye.

The main attachment is into four empty threaded holes surrounding the pto. There are also tabs that bear down on top of the axles.

Attachment 2: The fit was near perfect. I had to take a small notch out of the fender-spacers to slide the ROPS forward into position.

Everything around here is on a slope. I feel more comfortable operating the tractor now.

Could you tell me how high your ROPS measures in both folded and unfolded position with the tractor sitting on a flat surface.
This question relates to garage access.

Height: I'm home in town now so I'll verify this when I get back out to the ranch, but as I recall I measured 6 ft 5" full height.

The tires are oversize (12.4 x 24 ag tread) so I think the height would be slightly less on OEM tires.

I didn't measure the folded height.

6 ft 5" full height.

ROPS folded: 5 ft, 5 3/4".

can you lift your seat and take another picture of your 240. I have one and some linkage is missing on mine. I have to put a piece of stiff wire there to get the lift to work.
