Rotary Cutter Driveshaft failure. Your suggestions.

I was looking at their website and some YouTube videos and I'm wondering if there is any advantage to using two remotes? I've never had a batwing, so I'm just guessing, but I can't think of any reason that I'd want to lift the wings and not lift the wheels. I'm not taking it off of the land, my insurance is very clear that it's only to be used on my land and nowhere else. I have some 12 foot gates, so lifting the wings to get through the gates would be the main reason to do this, which will also lift the wheels. Otherwise, why would I want to connect to the second remote?
You may find you would like additional flexibility but to start with I would use just the one remote and see how it works for my uses. You can always change it up later.

Good point. It's just another hose.

I have a Bushhog 2515 batwing and it's rated for running the blades with the wings up. That makes it nice for trimming the side vegetation along the driveway or trails. It only cuts about 5' high but that's still a help.

Bushhog requires slipping the clutches monthly. The clutches do work, I've worn out two sets on my Woods MD72 cutter.

As for a tractor rated for more than the attachments, I learned long ago to properly match the attachments. Tractor Supply attachments are not designed for 45 hp tractors. I was spending way too much time at the local weld shop having stuff repaired. (That was before I learned to do my own welding.)
