Rotella 5w40 synthetic, under $13/gallon- Walmart

I see the helpers and now I know how you got it done so fast. I have been thinking about another building, but I know that the more room that I have the more that I will fill it. I am trying to divest rather than invest, so I don't think that another building is in my future.

Here in sw PA, the Wally Worlds have the Rotella 5W-40 synthetic for just under $13/gallon. HOWEVER, they also have the 6 gallon cases for $37.92. That's only $6.32/ea!!! (+ tax)

Personally, I thought it was a mistake, but the sales associate said that it was the correct price. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Ya might want to check out the case prices the next time ya shop.

Are you sure the 6 gallon cases are Rotella synthetic oil? The Wal-Mart near me has the same deal but they are not synthetic.

Being a brand new store, the shelf tag was wrong. Being a new employee, the sales associate made a mistake as well.

Don't feel bad..... I went to a different Wally World store last week looking for it and the department manager told me that they had discontinued it and that is why there was none on the shelf at all. I am not certain if he was out of stock and making excuses, didn't know what he was talking about, or talking the truth. Since it was a distance from here, I won't be back to that store to find out. My local store hasn't had any every time I stop, but they say it is my timing. I will just keep looking. Caught 2 gallons once, so I am set for the next change anyway.

The store near me, in Jonesville/Hillsdale, MI never seems to have it on the shelf either, but I just call them up two days before going and they get it right in. Don't even have to buy a whole case - last time just 4 gallons. (same price $12.88/ea) Maybe if you talk to the right person, they can do the same for you.

I told a friend who drives a green tractor about the syn. Rotella, and got another 7 gallons for him, all at $12.84/gal. The big oil display at the aisle end has been taken down, and now its stuck on a low shelf, but there still seems to plenty of it at the local store.

The store local to me finally just got a couple of cases in, and I bought them up. 12 gallons of Rotella synthetic for $12.38 each. A great find because I was just about to buy a load of Delvac 1 for about $22 a gallon. Thanks for the heads-up on this!!!

I finally found some of Rotella T synthetic at our new Wal-Mart supercenter in Summerville, GA and bought two gallons so I'm set for my next oil change.
