We have a Case IH 8420 round baler. (same as Hesston 530) we just bought last summer, haven't used yet.
My husband wants to take off all the belts, so he can get to other parts and clean and fix them.
Is that a bad idea, to take off all of them at once? Our manual tells how to take off one at a time, and pull the new one through using the old one, but they don't tell us how to tackle putting all new ones on at once.
Particularly, we can't figure out if you can open the back door with all the belts off, without messing something up. We don't have any experience with these, so please advise starting with the basics. Thanks !!
