I just sand the bar to clean previous rust. The black spot on Liquid Wrench came from first life of steel bar. The top of bar were not spray because my finger cover it.
I make this test to find the best rust proofing stuff. A stuff able to penetrate in small crack. Not a waxy thick stuff that keep moisture in crack.
