We had a pretty salty winter here in Buffalo, N.Y. I took my plow frame off my truck and ground and sanded most of the rust off. There's still some paint or powder coat on it and I want to do a one time deal of putting a really rust resistant paint on it. I don't want to powder coat, it comes off to easy. I'm thinking maybe a epoxy paint but I'll admit, I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to paint. If the process is easy and it's going to stay on, then I'll start doing some implements too. I'm looking to do a 1 step process that will stay on the frame while getting beat to crap from road salt. Appreciate your input and expertise.

I have had good luck with rusoleum rusty metal primer and gloss black. But the trick is to spray it though a hvlp gun.

I'm far from a professional painter, but I believe if you were to ask a few, they would tell you that such a thing doesn't exist.
