The nice thing about weights is that you can add and subtract them as needed. I often pull a 15' mower with the 5303. I also use it to chisel plow and pull a 12' disc. With that weight on the back end it's useful to have the front end weighted down for efficient steering. With only an MX8 a couple weights on the front end should be more than sufficient. I run a 12' on the 5303 too and absolutely zero problems. I can run that mower without any weight on the front end no problems.
